Pan Pacific College
Details: For most, when thinking of teaching in Asia, the first countries that come to mind are Korea, Japan and Taiwan. Each of them have their advantages and disadvantages. While the salary may be higher in a place like Japan, it is offset by the higher cost of living. In major cities like Seoul and Taipei, you may spend hours each day commuting back and forth in busy traffic, if you are lucky enough to work in the same building all day. Not to mention, many job postings are for places that are far from the nightlife and ex-pat communities. Taking postings in smaller town have fewer opportunities to make friends or find your favorite foods.
How about the Philippines? Sunny weather, multicultural foods and culture, access to great beaches and friendly people who can communicate in English. Its a great way to be able to enjoy Asia comfortably, within a country that has very welcoming people. You will be able to easily access other parts of Southeast Asia easily such as Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore.
We are currently conducting interviews at our sister school of the same name in Vancouver. If you are interested, please email your resume and brief cover letter to the address above.
We are willing to offer: a return trip flight ticket, air-conditioned accommodation withing walking distance of the school in the Makati district of Manila and a very competitive salary.
We are looking for someone to make a one year commitment. We may be able to give the option of 6 months with a 6 month extension to the right candidate. There would also be a possibility of a longer stay if both parties are happy with the arrangement.
Dont miss out on this opportunity of a lifetime. Very few jobs are offered for postings in the Philippines and this could be that chance you are looking for.
