Details: Native English speakers required to teach children and adults of all levels in the north east of Hungary. Applicants will preferably hold a UK passport as this makes employment within the EU very much less complicated. That said all applications will be considered on their own merits.
We are also seeking fully qualified staff for the opening of a new English speaking kindergarten (working with 3-6 year old children).
We operate the largest language school in the region and provide a friendly, fun environment for both our staff and our students. Both Debrecen (pronounced Debretsen) and Nyíregyháza (pronounced Nyeer-edge-harza) are thriving college towns with plenty of entertainment outside of work. Both cities are characterised by unusually friendly people, a rich culture, a fascinating history and an exciting future. They are also ideally situated for visits to Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Romania and Ukraine.
A formal teaching background and/or a recognised English teaching qualification is essential.
Positions for English teaching will be available from September.
Start dates for the kindergarten are a little less clear, as this is a new venture and we are unable to give a date until we have some staff. We hope to open late this year or early next year.
Teaching will be upwards of 20 hours a week and will provide sufficient pay for a good quality of life here.
Contracts are for one year (extendible). Travel expenses will be reimbursed at the end of this period.
Help with accommodation will be provided.
I will reiterate that applicants MUST be native English speakers. Non-native speakers will not be considered, regardless of their level of English.
