Details: Ambrosoli International School is a vibrant primary and pre-primary school for children aged from 2 to 11 years located in Kampala, Uganda. Following an internationally enhanced English National Curriculum, the school has a supremely welcoming atmosphere with a culture of high expectations. We are currently recruiting a Year 1 class teacher effective from 07 January 2008 or prior to this. Our Year 1 class caters for children aged between 5 and 6 years and a maximum of 20 children.
Applicant must hold a graduate teaching qualification and in addition to this should be:
? a excellent class teacher
? able to be a keen team player with a good sense of adventure, fun and humour.
? flexible, resourceful and open to share and adopt new ideas
? fluent in spoken an written English
? able to gear teaching towards students with many different social, emotional and educational needs and coming from different cultural backgrounds and countries.
Experience in the English National Curriculum is an advantage; although training can be provided in this area.
