Details: You Are:
• An experienced primary school teacher. Age is no barrier - retired classroom teachers are encouraged to apply.
• Looking for a stimulating professional opportunity, where you can use your training, initiative and creativity to help give shape to a young, evolving school.
• Willing to work closely with Ugandan teacher colleagues to build their professional teaching capacity.
• Prepared to commit to at least one full school year, starting early September 2008 and ending August 2009.
• Financially secure to the degree that you are willing and able to take on this role without the need for substantial financial remuneration. We are in a position to provide you with accommodation and a basic retainer adequate to meet daily living costs here in Jinja.
