Details: Qualified teachers from across Canada will be posted at various schools throughout Bhutan depending on the needs of Bhutan’s Ministry of Education. The recruitment process will involve a written application and interview. A training session will take place in Bhutan before teachers travel to their schools.
Responsibilities:
Must follow and deliver Bhutanese curriculum as per the Ministry of Education’s standards
Must commit to a one year contract (which can be extended for up to five years)
Must adhere to the Bhutan’s Ministry of Education’s Code of Conduct and Ethics
Qualifications:
Teaching certification or a minimum of three years experience in the field of education
Must have a valid passport and no criminal record
Recruited teachers will be committed to the same aims as the foundation – to support and promote the aims of the Bhutanese Ministry of Education in its pursuit of excellence in education.
