Internship Opportunity in Austria - Camp Counsellor

Can you see yourself spending a summer in the beautiful Austrian countryside and learning German while you’re at it?
We’re looking for motivated and enthusiastic people for our accelingua English in Action summer camps!
**Are you a keen footballer? We are also looking for you. This year some of our accelingua summer camps will be offered with a focus on football.
Info: The camps will take place at three locations in the Salzburg region of Austria from July 4th to August 30th. You will be involved in sports programmes as well as evening activities, organizing lesson plans, teaching, and being responsible for the well-being of the campers. The age range will be between 8 and 16 years.
Requirements: You must be an EU citizen who is a native English speaker and should be a current student or recent University graduate.
Ideally you should:
- Have previous experience working with children
- Have previous teaching experience and/or teaching qualifications
- Have skills related to outdoor education
- Have musical, artistic, or creative abilities
Dates:
You will work a combination of the following camps:
One week Camps:
31.07 - 07.08 (football focus)
07.08 – 14.08 (football focus)
14.08 – 21.08 (football focus)
21.08 – 28.08
28.08 – 04.09
Two week Camps:
17.07 – 30.07
30.07 – 12.08
12.08 – 25.08
Remuneration: Successful applicants will receive one week of intensive German training, as well as 150 euro per week and free room and board for the duration of their stay in Austria. References will be available upon completion of the programme.
