Bachelor’s Degree (university graduate)

Details: Fields of Expertise: ESL/EFL,
Landon Language Institute is the largest placement center in Taiwan, We place
teachers in tutoring positions, crams schools and certified schools throughout the
country.
1. Salary: NT$50,000 – 80,000(USD1800 to $2800)(The salary varies according to
experience and location)
2. Outside Taipei positions often provide free or subsidized housing.
3. Hours: 25-40 hours per week (The teaching time goes from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
every day or 9:00am to 6:00pm for kindergarten).
4. Eleven national holidays as required by the Taiwan government – additional
holidays depend on the institution’s standards.
5. Institutions will provide the candidate with an alien resident certificate to work
legally in Taiwan.
6. Comfortable working environment.
7. Positions available immediately.
8. Landon is a placement service and requires a 20% commission on the 1st
month’s salary (one month only).
9. Some positions require a teacher’s certificate from your home country but such
positions often come with higher pay and more benefits.
Qualifications for Applicants:
1. Native English speakers from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa,
Australia or NZ (other nationalities are welcome depending on their fluency and
accent in English)
2. Bachelor degree (diploma)
3. Over 23 years old.
4. TESOL/TEFL Certification (Neither are essential)
5. EFL classroom experience is preferred
6. Mature and flexible attitude
7. Be motivated, enthusiastic and open to new experiences.
