LINGUA HOUSE TBILISI
Details: We are now seeking candidates to begin work now, to teach English to mostly Georgians and some Armenians. We are thinking of opening a new school branch in Batumi and near the Russian border.
We are currently in Vake Park, TBILISI, near its perimeter, on a hill overlooking a few walnut trees and next door to a top well known kindergarten.
We need teachers experienced in training for TOEFL exams, IELTS, and SAT. In addition, we need a few teachers skilled at working with children age 6-12.
We teach many adults who work for NGOs and need grammar brush up at all levels, and lots of conversation practice.
Our largest client is the exclusive American high school here, for their entering freshmen exams, which are very rigorous and all the parents here want their child to get into it. This entails lots of essay writing practice and corrections, for six months prior to their exams.
We offer part time and full time positions.
Many of our students prefer one on one tutoring, and use our library extensively. We also offer a few groups of 2 to 5 students, at various levels.
We usually try out a new teacher with a few hours for a week or two, to see how the students respond. Then we offer many more hours accordingly, and a contract.
