Academic Director and Volunteer Teachers Wanted

Details: We are a small not-for-profit school in the remote mountain town of Providencia, a couple of hours outside San Jose. We are looking for people with a good work ethic that are looking to escape the rush of city life and come and work with our students teaching ESL & an American Computerized learning program called SOS combined with the Costa Rican ICER Curriculum of Spanish, Math, Science, Civics and Social Studies.
We want individuals who have knowledge of both Spanish & English and can commit to a period of at least 3 months. Room and Board with a local family is included and individuals are expected to help out and contribute work to their homestay families as well as their work in the school.
All candidates must also be drug and alcohol free while in the town.
We need teachers to start from next month & October and stay until we break for Christmas in December. Do not apply unless you are serious about coming and can start from September or October at the latest.
We also need a Director to start from October and commit to a 1 year period. This role comes with private accommodation and a small stipend.
