Details: • The teachers are to carry out educational programmes and activities in the classroom setting and on field trips.
• The teachers are expected to adhere strictly to the weekly theme and daily timetable in the classroom.
• Lesson plans should be prepared in advance and recorded in the Teacher’s Record Book. The Record Book is to be submitted to the Principal / Service Manager every Friday, along with the workbooks for evaluation. Record Books should be kept in the School.
• Craft activities should be carried out regularly and displayed in the classroom.
• Classroom displays and charts should be changed periodically and be well maintained. There should not be any dog-eared charts, torn plastics or labels.
• All children’s worksheets should be completed, marked, compiled in the correct sequence and neatly filed into the folders. The folders and worksheets must be given back to the children to bring home to their parents by the first Friday of each term holiday.
• Their respective teachers should wash classroom toys once a week, on Fridays.
• All teachers are expected to utilize their afternoon periods well (i.e., when the children are napping). The afternoons should be spent planning the record book, marking worksheets, doing charts and/or any other thing related to the School.
• Classrooms are to be kept clean and neat at all times. The furniture is to be arranged in proper order, and fans, lights and air-conditioning are to be switched off before the staff leaves the classroom.
