A job teaching in Panama is a fantastic way to live overseas and travel Central America. We have one position available for an upper elementary and middle school teacher.
Five Stars Academy is a fully accredited school located 80 miles west of Panama City in the Province of Cocle. We are in walking distance of the Pacific Ocean. We are an English speaking school with all classes being taught in English. We have international students from Canada, United States, Europe, and South America.
Panama is located in Central America, bordered by Costa Rica and Colombia. It is a country of staggering beauty, immense variety of wildlife, mountains, cloud forests and rainforest, Pacific and Caribbean beaches. Our school is located in the beach resort community of Cocle.
This is a salaried teaching position. We provide $1,000 per month, housing, internet, and transportation to the school as well as 2 round trip tickets. Panama has an overall low cost of living expenses.
All applicants must have a Bachelors Degree with Teaching Certification. Early Childhood Education Endorsement is preferred. Five years of teaching experience is preferred. Applicants must be able to pass a background screening check, drug screening test, and have an updated valid passport. Preference will be given to applicants with prior oversees teaching.
