Details: Job Description
Candidates would serve as an ELT Instructor training Afghanistan Military Students using the DLI American Language Course (ALC) materials. Utilize effectively, a Learning Management System (LMS) to effectively document all aspects of the training being conducted, Provide oversight on all required ELT status reports, Monitor effectiveness of training to ensure students meet training objectives and time-to-training milestones, Provide security control of all courseware testing materials, Provide oversight of training program delivery to ensure all contract training requirements are met. Candidates may be required to other student related duties as required by the Program Manager.
Required Skills
Candidates must be native speaking Americans with experience delivering ELT to international students. The ideal candidates will have experience training using the DLI American Language Course (DLI) materials. The preferred candidate will have experience working in Afghanistan or alternatively, with other Muslim native speaking students. Candidate must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office, Microsoft, and Excel and Power Point. Must have keen interpersonal relationship and be aware of, and capable of working with Afghanistan clients.
Position contingent upon contract award.
Required Experience
•Minimum of 5 years/ten (10) years preferred full-time relevant EFT teaching to adults
•Bachelor’s Degree or M.A. in the following disciplines: English /TESOL / TEFL / Applied Linguistics / Education
•TEFL/TESL certification such as DELTA or equivalent
•Must have copy of all certificates and diplomas as they are required to be kept on file
