Quevedo city is located in the province of Los Ríos, in Ecuador, South America. Since it is in the middle of the country, distances to attractive tourist places are shorter. Ecuador has an amazing diversity of landscapes that includes Galápagos Islands, beautiful beaches, the Andes and the Amazon jungle,
Our English Language School is a Cambridge Preparation Center. This means not only that our curriculum is based on Cambridge University Press (CUP) course books, but also that we prepare learners for Cambridge ESOL exams. Being awarded internationally recognized certificates, makes our learners feel accomplished and motivated to continue the process of foreign language acquisition/learning. Most importantly, our instructors are periodically trained by CUP and certified by Cambridge ESOL examinations. Finally, our classrooms have appropriate audiovisual equipment and air conditioning.
We are seeking ESL/EFL teachers who are native speakers (Standard American Pronunciation or Received Pronunciation) with multicultural competencies to work for us for a year. Field trips are included at upper levels of our program to give foreign instructors the opportunity to get to know the country, and for learners to put into practice what they have learned in the classroom.
The minimum wage in Ecuador is US$300.00. The salary offered is average for ESL/EFL teachers for today’s job market and is a very good one for a single person. In addition, Quevedo is one of the cheapest cities in the country.
