Details: 1. We currently have 8 new positions for English teachers in the Hsinchu
as well as multiple positions in Taipei that pay than $50,000 - 72,000/mo.
These positions require a 1 year commitment. Note that Taipei positions need the
applicant to do an in person interview here in Taiwan prior to signing a contract.
Important - Landon is a placement service and requires a 20 percent commission on the
1st month’s salary (one month only).
Landon Language Institute is the largest placement center in Taiwan and have many
additional positions beyond those listed above. We place teachers in tutoring positions,
crams schools and certified schools throughout the country.
The salary varies according to experience, location and number of hours worked).
2. Outside Taipei positions often provide free or subsidized housing.
3. Hours: 25-40 hours per week (The teaching time goes from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm every
day or 9:00am to 6:00pm for kindergarten). Salary is commensurate with the number of
hours worked.
4. Eleven national holidays as required by the Taiwan government – additional holidays
depend on the institution’s standards.
5. Institutions will provide the candidate with an alien resident certificate to work legally in
Taiwan.
6. Comfortable working environment.
7. Positions available immediately.

Qualifications for Applicants:
1. Native English speakers from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia or
NZ (other nationalities are welcome depending on their fluency and accent in English)
2. Bachelor degree (diploma)
3. Over 23 years old.
4. TESOL/TEFL Certification (Neither are essential)
5. EFL classroom experience is preferred
6. Mature and flexible attitude
7. Be motivated, enthusiastic and open to new experiences.
