Title: Foreign Language Tutor
Reports to: Coordinator of Tutors
Based at: Teaching foreign languages as part time language instructor.
Job purpose:
To teach the foreign languages as a foreigner so can create a native accent in language learning process.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Advanced report of weekly free times to the coordinator.
2. Prepare monthly lesson plans via using teaching materials offered by Flora Education. *( Only in English language Flora Education offers language material for the other foreign languages tutor must bring their own material and get confirmation for those materials from Flora Education)
3. Being punctual and attends one to one or group classes assigned within Istanbul.
4. Monitor and monthly report about student progress or relevant problems.
5. Get given hour card signed by students at the end of each class.

Person profile -- Language Tutor
Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality. Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior big company executives or with kids. Reliable, tolerant, and determined. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person’s point of view. Well presented. Sufficiently mobile and flexible to travel within the Istanbul. Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability. Able to get on with others
and be a team-player.
Personal Situation: Must be mature and domestically secure. Able to spend one or two hours in the student’s house. Able to work extended hours on occasions when required.
Teaching Experience: Must have a small or big scale teaching experience. Must be familiar with the terms of teaching language. Must be a native speaker of the language would like to teach. If would like to teach any other language rather than English must apply with own teaching materials and get confirmation for them.
Computer Skills: Must have enough computer skills to download a document or print a document. Must have access to internet.
Language Certificates: Language teaching certificates are not obligatory but in case of having one, it will affect the amount of salary.
Native Speaker: Which means all the instructors must be native of their languages. Double nationalities are accepted.
Payment:
• Payment related issues will be discussed during face to face meetings.
• Payments will be hourly base and it will be paid in cash every 15 of each month.
• According to the hour cards given to teachers exact amount will be determined.
• Certificated and proved experiences will have affect the salary.
• Minimum payment is 30TL per hour.
• Languages rather than English will get higher range of payments.
