The Australian International School in Dhaka is a three-campus school with 300 EC-Grade 12 students undertaking an Australian curriculum and issuing its graduates with the Western Australian Certificate in Education (WACE). We are in the process of building a modern, environmentally-friendly single campus and hope to grow to 650+ students thereafter.
We are seeking a qualified professional teacher for one or more classes in addition to coordinating/mentoring duties. There will be another Coordinating Teacher on the senior campus for Math and Science.
Applicants must have formal teaching qualifications (e.g. B.Ed, MEd ) in addition to an undergraduate degree. International experience is mandatory. Preference given to those whose mother tongue is English.
This position will be of particular interest to those individuals nearing retirement, or who have recently retired, and wish to apply their skills to make the school a major center for developing its young talent into self-confident, proficient, adventurous newcomers for the global academic or business community.
The compensation package includes:
• A net salary of $35,000 USD per year (taxes paid by the school)
• Secure furnished apartment located the the diplomatic and safe Gulshan residential area of Dhaka (internet , utilities included)
• Annual flight home
• Medical Insurance support
• Relocation Assistance
• Vehicle Use
