Centre Managers, DoSs, Activity Managers

(United Kingdom, London, Edinburgh, Portsmouth,)
Must have a legal working status for United Kingdom to apply!

Fields of Expertise: ESL/EFL,  Summer Camp,

Details: Please note that we are only able to offer employment to those people who have
permission to work in the UK.
MLI International Schools is one of the UK and Ireland’s leading providers of Junior
Summer Language Courses. This year we celebrate 20 years in business and to
coincide with this we are expanding our UK operations.
Our aim is to deliver highly communicative language tuition for young learners in
which all the strands of the programme interconnect to create a dynamic and fun
experience.
This summer we are going to be running centres in Lancaster, Sheffield, Wembley
Chelmsford, Portsmouth, and Blackpool, and we are looking for Centre Managers,
DOSs, and Activity Managers across these sites.
All available roles are residential positions.
The senior management team sets the tone for the smooth and successful running of the whole programme and so we are only looking for hard-working, committed
individuals with previous experience of working in this kind of challenging but highly rewarding working environment.
Centre Managers oversee the running of the whole programme. They offer support to the DoS and Activity Manager and the rest of the staff, as well as developing a
strong working relationship with the host site and our group leaders.
The DoS is in charge of the academic side of the programme. They ensure the
successful implementation of our academic goals and offer daily support and
guidance to the teachers.
Activity Managers manage the social aspects of the programme, including
excursions, sports and evening entertainment. They work closely with the activity
staff to ensure the children really enjoy their time spent outside of the classroom.
Full job specifications are available on our website.
MLI International Schools is fully committed to the safety of the children who take
part in our programmes. All contracted staff are asked to complete a CRB check and all applicants are required to provide two references. Reference requests will ask specifically whether there is any reason that you should not be engaged in situations where you have responsibility for, or substantial access to, persons under 18. You will need to explain any gaps in your CV.
