Details: JOB ANNOUNCEMENT-ESL SUMMER TEACHERS- JUNIOR PROGRAM

New York Language Center, a New York State Certified and nationally
accredited language school is seeking 40 part time ESL teachers for two,
four and six weeks programs held at St. John’s University campuses in
Queens and Staten Island, New York City. Students are 13-17 years old .
It is a summer camp and they are coming as tourists to enjoy New York
and learn some English. Many will be from Italy and China. We will offer
different levels from beginner through advanced.
Requirements: B.A
1 year of ESL teaching or professional ESL training course.
Native English speaker or native English language ability
$18 plus per hour depending upon qualifications. -20 hours a week.
2 week minimum commitment for the summer, up to 6 weeks.
Outgoing and friendly persons only
Interest in foreign language and culture
One day training and orientation prior to starting the program at one of
our New York City locations.
If you have access to a car to drive to campus, parking will be available.
