RECRUITMENT PACKAGE FOR INTERNATIONAL TEACHERS
The international hire teaching package is as follows:
(Two-year contract)
• Competitive Salary - $34,000 and above per annum (depends on the Degree and years of Experience)
• Economy air fare from point to point of origin - Reimbursed
• Paid Summer leave
• Excursion air fare to and from point of origin for summer leave
• Housing -- $1190 /month
• Baggage allowance (with receipts) Middle East $ 172 Europe $ 317 North America $ 397 Far East/Australia $ 317
• Settling in allowance is $397 (with receipts)
• Medical Insurance is provided (except when traveling in the US)
• 30percent discount on the school fees limited to two children in the school.
• Transportation to and from the school for the first 2 weeks of employment. Assistance with finding permanent personal transport will be provided
• A total of 12 days Medical Leave per year
• A total of 3 days Approved Personal Leave to be used for Professional Development
• Visa, Work Permit, and Approval of Employment will be arranged and paid by the employer
• At the end of the teachers’ contract the teacher will receive indemnity of half month basic salary for the first 3 years of service and a 1 full month basic salary for each of the subsequent years.
• There will be a deduction of 1percent of the salary towards the Social Insurance as per the Bahraini Law
