Teach English in Brunei

Details: The Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam is embarking on an ambitious campaign to improve their students’ levels of English and their teachers’ ability to teach English. Experienced and highly qualified teachers of English are now being recruited from Australia and New Zealand to implement this program.
If you are a native English speaker, hold a related Masters degree or PhD, and have at least 5 years of successful teaching experience post-degree, please register for one of the positions as soon as possible.
Shortlisted candidates will be initially be interviewed by Skype with a further interview to be conducted in person or by Skype from Singapore. Minimum contracts are expected to be of one-year’s duration with the likelihood of extension for successful employees.
It is expected that there will be two levels of teachers employed for this program.
One level will work predominantly as classroom teachers with some responsibility for mentoring local colleagues. The second level will be more experienced teachers with some background of professional leadership. They will teach but predominantly will be involved in teacher mentoring and pedagogic development.
Very competitive salary packages and conditions will be offered to successful candidates.
