Details: Unique Minds Learning Company has openings in two career positions. We are a locally owned education business looking for progressive minded people to share in our growth. These positions will be of interest to career oriented job seekers who want to help students learn. A background in tutoring, teaching, counseling or science is preferred but not mandatory. Both positions are salaried with a considerable bonus available based on personal and company performance.
Account Manager: our account managers are responsible for the delivery of our services to schools, community groups and individual clients. This involves providing the required services personally as well as planning, scheduling and securing the services of other staff members as required. Excellent communications skills are paramount.
Program Manager: our program manager is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of our group workshops and individual education programs. This involves ensuring high standards of excellence in program content, training staff on implementing the programs and locating the necessary equipment. Direct involvement in presenting science workshops is a considerable component of the job.
Prospective candidates should have a university degree, preferably in science or education, be enthusiastic about seeing young people progress and be able to work both individually and as part of a team. Fluency in English is a must and a second language is an asset. The positions involve travel throughout the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island so a reliable vehicle is necessary. A criminal record check will be required prior to being employed. Compensation: salary plus bonus $40k
