Details: The school is located in Tabubil, Western Province, Papua New Guinea, in the safe and clean mining town of Ok Tedi Mining Ltd. The school is well-resourced, including a good library and good access to the internet.
Currently we have 250 students enrolled, and a staff of 14 expatriate and national teachers. The school provides pre-school, transition and kindergarten classes at its Early Learning Centre, and Grades 1 – 8 at its main campus. Two new classrooms are being constructed this year to cater for expansion to Grade 9 in 2015, and new Science and Arts classrooms are also being constructed. English is the language of instruction.
Expressions of interest are sought immediately from teachers who would like to contribute to the growth and success of this international school. We are inviting experienced, dedicated and well-qualified teachers, who can teach in grades 1 to 10. Previous experience in an international school, and familiarity with the International Baccalaureate PYP and MYP curriculum, is desirable.
The salary and benefits package is excellent: including 3-year renewable contracts, competitive salaries, good furnished accommodation, leave fares, and medical insurance.
