Details: Kindergarten teacher needed for new International school in Okayama City, Japan. Must be able to arrive ASAP as we need the new teacher to work a special play camp from July 28th - Aug. 8th then train and start classes Sept. 1.
Remuneration will be 260,000 with a completion bonus at the end of the 1 yr. contract. Vacation 8 weeks paid. Salary paid monthly.
This is a new international school so no Japanese is used in classrooms (immersion). Your day will look like this : 8:45 arrive at school and prepare the classroom. Kids arrive at 9:30. Class til 2PM. Then you will have an after school class from 3:15-5:15 using student centred material we have.
Our grounds are very nice if you want to see our website. There is plenty of grass and play area along with trees and close proximity to a big forest. Loads of discovery. Points go to the teacher with the most creativity.
Japan takes time to get used to. If you are not fond of leaving home and miss friends easily then please do not apply.
