Details: NATURE OF THE WORK: The trainee will teach English to German-speaking students from the ages of 8 to 15 for a not-for-profit organization headquartered in the Austrian Lake District in Austria, the region made famous by the “Sound of Music” movie. Bilingual education has become increasingly popular in Austrian secondary schools and we have recently launched a major effort to expand their outreach program. The trainee is provided with training in teaching English as a foreign language, project work, feedback from a senior teacher, full room and board with internet access, travel costs, evenings, weekends and Austrian public holidays free. At the conclusion of the intensive ESL training program and trainee placement, the successful candidate will be awarded with a TEFL Certificate for Young Learners (which includes 24 hours of teacher training seminars and 48 observed teaching hours). Course Dates: 6th April 2015 to 1st August and 24th August to 24th December 2015
