- One Economics and Business Studies teacher for secondary,
- Two teachers of English for Grades 5 to 8
Minimum requirements:
- Education: All applicants must hold a university degree, at least a BA or a BS, in the
subject that they are applying to teach. A “Teaching Diploma” or an “Education Diploma”
would be a very strong plus
- Experience: All applicants must have at least four years of experience, teaching the
subject that they are applying to teach, at schools, at the right level, primary, intermediate
or secondary. Applicants who hold a teaching diploma or an education qualification, in
addition to their university degree, would need only three years of experience.
- Language proficiency: Only native speakers of English will be considered for the
teacher of English posts. Applicants for the post of teacher of economics and business
studies must have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
The school offers a one-year renewable contract that stipulates:
- A non-taxable salary,
- An end of service indemnity as per the laws of Oman,
- That the school pays for the work permit and visa,
- Single shared accommodation,
- That the school pays the electricity and water bills,
- That the school provides transport to and from school,
- An economy-class return air ticket from nearest international airport in home country,
