Details: Knowledge Platform, a leading Pan-Asian learning solutions company, has recently established a joint venture in Indonesia to provide innovative ‘blended learning’ solutions for both the corporate and educational sectors in Indonesia. Under our blended learning approach, we blend face-to-face learning with online and mobile learning, and we pervasively deploy high-engagement learning formats such as role plays, competitions, games and projects.
We have recently established our Indonesia joint venture with very strong local partner and expect to scale the venture considerably over the next 2-3 years. We are looking for you to join us as an Instructional Designer and Teacher who will help us design and deploy innovative, high-impact, scalable learning solutions.
The role involves:
Designing innovative learning solutions, especially in the area of English, Customer Service, Math and Science.
Developing interactive multimedia content.
Teaching classes to trial and improve learning solutions and demonstrate effective teaching methods.
Engaging as an online mentor and facilitator.
Teaching and supervising local teachers.
You will work with our small but experienced instructional design and content development team and our technology team in different parts of Asia. We do really exciting, innovative work and we are continually trying to push the boundaries of the teaching and learning experience. We are sure you will find the experience to be highly challenging and absorbing and that you will develop and deepen next-generation content design and teaching capabilities.
Required skills:
• Graduate with 2-3 years work experience in education, writing, editing, research or related fields
• Native speaker of English (Math and Science capability is nice to have but not entirely necessary)
• Strong content writing capabilities
• Excellent editorial skills
• Experienced in classroom teaching
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of international curriculums will be useful
• Independent and driven
• Detail oriented, organized and efficient
• Collaborative team-player
