Details: 2 ENGLISH TEACHERS FOR A SMALL LANGUAGE SCHOOL
(60 km from Barcelona), (40 km from Vic and Manresa)
Requirements: Teacher Training CELTA, TEFL certificate or Arts degree. Experience in teaching, Children, teenagers and adults
Full time: 25 hours, from Monday to Friday. In the afternoon, in the language school, 2 mornings in a Primary or High School. It includes class preparation and exam correction.
Group Classes: from 3-year-olds till adults, beginners to advanced, younger and older... a wide variety.
Two teachers required: One for kids and teenagers and another for teenagers and adults (Cambridge exam preparation)
Academic year 15-16: September 15th - June 26th (we start working on Sept 1st)
Compensation Contract from September to June (and if wanted extended till July), Approx 1,200 Euros before taxes. It can be more if you want to take some private classes.
Accommodation 300-350 euros a flat. Accommodation is cheap in our town, and we will help you with all the bureaucracy.
More about us: We are a small language school, at the moment we are 6 teachers and we have 5 classrooms. We love working through projects, presentations, videos, arts and crafts. All classes have TV sets and DVD players, along with a few laptops. We have lots of resources, books, films, games. We are like a small family so we are always ready to help each other and we enjoy working as a team.
Our town is small and beautiful, it’s fantastic if you like hiking or mountainbiking. There isnt a big social life during the week but at the weekend it gets busier. Lots of activities you can join: basketball, yoga, football.
