Details: Keystone Educational Centre is looking for a pre-school and ESL teacher to join our small but friendly and dynamic team. Tiggiano, province of Lecce, Puglia (Italy). The Educational centre offers a daily pre-school service to families with kids from the age of 3 to 6 (Italian pre-school), plus afternoon English courses to young learners and adults on request. The position entails: daily pre-school full time teaching to Italian kids aged 3 to 6; organizing and running daily fun and educational workshops; monitoring and evaluating children, organizing the curriculum following the centre methodology that is based on International Early Years programs, Italian preschool standards and Reggio Approach; being part of the organization and helping to develop the educational offer so that the entire project can grow quickly in an area in which there is practically no competition. We would consider extending the partnership of the business to the right candidate with the right approach and enthusiasm. Our centre aims at offering a very high level of service and works in collaboration with the Pedagogical Department of the University of Salento, with all our educational activities and procedures being validated by our team member, a Professor of the University of Salento and psycho pedagogic to guarantee that the best and latest pedagogical methods are followed at the centre. Training and support will be provided. Please consider that this is a brand new project and it will be a breakthrough in the area but it might take time to develop and the beginning could be slow. That is why we require a person who can be part of a developing project and he/she is ready to do anything possible to make it work offering the highest quality of services to customer and maximum support and inputs to the organizers.The position does not suit someone who is not flexible and adaptable. It requires self organizational skills, and independence. Some knowledge of Italian would be a benefit
Main Responsibilities -
* Managing a small group of students aged 2 and 3 to 6 and follow the daily preschool program and running the daily workshops (drama,music, physical education, gardening, senses and manual skills, recycling, food education, etc etc)
* Monitoring and evaluating students of all ages
* Assisting in the development of teaching materials and activities.
* Running afternoon classes of children and young-adults who wants to learn English, based on a workshop approach.
