Details: UNES is private kindergarten and elementary school in Slovakia with a special licensed program focused on learning languages. Private kindergarten UNITED NATIONS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is functioning under the approval and the registry of Slovak Ministry of Education and therefore all teachers working in UNITED NATIONS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL will have officially approved international work experience in the state approved school.
• Currently, UNES is looking for an open-minded, active, and creative professional to join our young staff of foreign teachers. In our facilities, kids learn subjects such as Art, Geography, Science, and Mathematics through English, Spanish and/or Chinese language. We also have a different sport programs taught by specialists as well as a wide variety of special weekly activities that include international cooking, field trips, special dates celebrations and more.
Responsibilities include: Foreign Teacher is coming to the private kindergarten UNITED NATIONS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL from abroad to teach his own language or to teach English language. We are hiring teachers from English speaking countries, Spanish speaking countries and also from other countries like China or Hong Kong.
SPECIALIZATION REQUIRED 1. University or college degree in any field or post graduate training in Education- however it is the best if the teacher has preschool education 2. Minimum 1 year experience as teacher, nursery teacher or kindergarten teacher or minimum 2 years’ experience as baby sitter, au pair or other job connected with care for children. 3. Native ability of required Language. 4. Ability to teach all subjects that are part of standard Kindergarten curriculum.Teacher has duty to teach in his NATIVE or ENGLISH language ( based on the agreement with employer) and his teaching style must be exactly the same as if teaching a child born & living in foreign country. Teacher cannot teach the language as a foreign language, but communicate the same way as if the child was native speaker. Teacher must provide enough communication and inspirational skills to give child full understandings of the new language within the 1st year of attendance and level close to native speaker of each child within 2 years of attendance.
A qualified candidate will have: Degree in teaching (the best option is preschool education) and be a native English/ Spanish speaker or near native fluency
