Governess (Full-Time/Live-Out) - Excellent Salary

Details: Fast-paced, Floridian family in need of a responsible and energetic governess (full-
time/live-out) for twin boys (4.5 years old) for private household employment.
Responsibilities include: managing children’s schedule and activities; driving children to
and from school and any appointments/activities; preparing healthy, nutritious meals;
children’s laundry and light housekeeping (related to the children. Housekeeper is on
staff); being a positive, nurturing influence who promotes cognitive, linguistic, social,
emotional and academic growth + development; attention to safety, cleanliness and the
children’s health + wellbeing at all times; communicating effectively with parents and
children; professionalism, discretion and respect for confidentiality; traveling with family
to vacation home; occasional overnights and weekend care when Mom/Dad travel
(babysitters are on staff).
Must be willing to travel with family
Flexibility needed (dual-career parents with busy schedules)
Must have glowing references, clean driving record & background checks
Must have, at the minimum, 3 years of professional, verifiable governess/nanny
experience. Ideal candidate will have 5+ with teaching experience
Must have bachelor’s degree. Preferably in a child-related field (early childhood
education, special education, child development, elementary education, etc)
Certified teacher a plus
Non-Floridian candidates encouraged to apply. They welcome a temporary live-in
arrangement until they can set up local living arrangement for an out-of-state candidate.
