Details: College Level EFL Professionals Needed in Kuantan, Malaysia.
Great opportunity to expand your EFL career at a dynamic and expanding college in a
large, multicultural city on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Several positions are
available.
Start Date: Immediate
Requirements: Master’s Degree(preferred) plus English language teaching certification
(CELTA, TESOL, TEFL or equivalent.) Position is open to native speakers, and non-
native speakers with IELTS 6.5. and above.
Candidates must have proven competency with all aspects of active learning and
learner-centred methodologies. The ideal candidate should have excellent classroom
management skills in facilitating group work.
Description: Courses will range from English for Specific Purpose (i.e. Tourism,
Journalism, Marketing,) to basic English. There will be a strong emphasis on teaching
speaking skills.
Position will also involve assisting with training in methodology to non-EFL faculty
members.
Compensation:
Holidays: All state and national holidays, plus 16 additional leave days, plus paid sick
leave.
Work Permit and visa: Paid and arranged after arrival.
Flights: Round Trip airfare provided.
Housing: Shared housing is provided and use of school car for transport.
