Details: American Global Academy is opening a new Preschool-12th\grade Private School in
Phnom Penh, Cambodia on September 26th and we are looking to hire a Music Director
for the school who can also teach either English or ESL classes at the middle school or
high school level. In addition, we are looking to hire an Athletic Director for the school
who can also teach either math or science at the middle school or high school level.
Here’s your opportunity to travel the world while gaining additional work experience at the
same time!
We’re looking to hire a Music Director who has a Bachelor’s degree [or higher] in music
and 2+ years of experience teaching music in an educational setting. We’re looking to
hire an Athletic Director who has a Bachelor’s degree [or higher] and 2+ years of
experience with coaching or PE in an educational setting.
We are a new school with less than fifty students enrolled at this point, so this is very
much a growth opportunity. The contract is for 1-2 years, including room and board, and
a negotiable monthly stipend. Airfare will be reimbursed. The school administration will
handle visas.
The Music Director would be responsible for planning and overseeing all the music,
choir, orchestra and performing arts programs for the school. The rest of your day will be
teaching either English or ESL classes in the school, depending on your strengths.
The Athletic Director would be responsible for planning and orchestrating all the sports
programs and classes for the school, to include [but not limited to] soccer, track & field,
volleyball, table tennis, basketball, football, baseball, softball and various martial arts.
The rest of your day will be teaching either math or science classes in the school,
depending on your strengths.
We also need teachers in general for preschool to 12th grade who have at least a
