First Grade Teacher

Details: Dear Applicants,
We are looking to fill a First Grade Teaching position for the 2019-2020 School year.
Our Benefit Package includes:
• Tax free salary, accommodation (based on marital status) in single-shared
accommodations, utilities, internet, and gym membership are included.
• Opportunity to supplement income
• Free tuition for dependents up to the levels in school that are available, (Years KG1-
Grade 4)
• Planned activities for new staff to help with cultural assimilation.
• Medical, basic dental and vision insurance.
• Professional Development for the IB programs and IPad technology.
• Promotions from within the school first.
• Visa and annual airfare to home country provided after one year of service.
• One-way airfare to Oman if offered contract.
**IPad for teaching/personal use. (Will be able to keep it after a two-year service has
been given.)
Requirements:
Must be a native American or Canadian English Speaker. (Only Canadian/American
passport holders.)
Must have at least 2 years of teaching experience.
Must have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Must have a TESOL, CETL, TEFL-or similar. or State/Country Teaching Credential by
the beginning of the school year.
Must commit 6 weekends out of the year to receive PYP Professional Development.
Must have transcripts, diploma, one letter of recommendation, and teaching credential
(TESOL, TEFL, or state/country qualification) notarized, authenticated and attested. (This
will be done when contract is offered.)
