We are an academic English language course provider based inside the campuses of the
partner universities, colleges and high schools. Since 2001, we’ve been teaching English
for Academic Purposes to the students of our partner schools who’d like to continue their
further education.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for full-time English Teachers for our Istanbul European and Anatolian
Side Campuses who;
- Effective English language teaching skills to meet the needs of students at varying
levels of English proficiency
- Willingness to take part in and contribute to team work to enhance the development of
the academic and professional activities of the department
- Ability to integrate technology in teaching and in the fulfillment of other departmental
tasks
- Professional skills and personality traits that would enable the candidate to work with
deadlines and toward the fulfillment of departmental goals, and to communicate
effectively with students and colleagues in a multi-cultural teaching environment
General Qualifications for non-Native English Teachers;
- Bachelor degree in English Teaching, English Language and Literature, American
Culture and Literature, Linguistics, Translation Studies or equivalance
- Energetic, highly motivated, creative and enthusiactic about teaching,
- Compatible with corporate business culture,
- Knowledge in the use of MS Office programs
- Minimum 2 year full time EFL/ESL teaching experience at all levels
- Native or NON-Native English Teachers
- Other qualifications in English language teaching (CELTA,TESOL,...) and Pedagogical
Formation will be considered as a strong asset (Reccomended).
- ALES/YDS are must from Turkish candidates
General Qualifications for Native English Teachers;
- Bachelor degree
- Energetic, highly motivated, creative and enthusiactic about teaching,
- Compatible with corporate business culture,
- Knowledge in the use of MS Office programs
- Minimum 1 year full time EFL/ESL teaching experience at all levels
- Other qualifications in English language teaching (CELTA,DELTA,TEFL,TESOL)
Important Note:
- Interviews with Turkish or resident candidates are going to be held at ALFSI Central
Office in Istanbul Asian Side. Non-resident teachers’ interviews are going be held via
SKYPE
- Those who do not fullfill above mentioned qualifications are not going to be taken into
consideration
