Seeking High School Teacher for Immediate Hire
(Thailand, Muang Phrae District, Phrae)

We are looking for a teacher who can start no later than the first of January as we had a
teacher who had to leave quite suddenly to attend to a family emergence in America.
The position available is to teach levels M. 4 and M. 5 with a total of 20-22 classes a
week. There are currently 3 other foreign teachers, one of whom is teaching here for her
second year. Teachers are expected to arrive to school before 8am and the first class
begins at 8:20. We see each class just once a week and they all have approximately 45
students. It is a large provincial government school (over 3,000 students) that is ranked
as one of the top schools in Northern Thailand. It has been a traditional all girl school that
now accepts some boys, but the classes are still 95% female. Nareerat is a wonderful
school that has a very long history and great reputation.
We would prefer to find someone who is currently residing in Thailand and has all the
necessary original documents with them, which are:
An authenticated Bachelor’s degree
Original university transcript
TELF or TESOL certification
Certificate of police clearance/background check
Valid passport with at least 6 empty visa pages
The school will provide all extra paperwork necessary to obtain a Non-B visa if applicant
does not have one (including transportation to and lodging in Laos), work permit,
teaching license, and tax card but the teacher is responsible for any fees.
