Principal/School Leader

Required Degrees: Masters in Education
Fields of Expertise: ESL/EFL,  Nursery,  Elementary,  Curriculum Developer,  ESL to Children,  Kindergarten,  Science,  Math/Physics,  Knowledge of IB Program
Salary: $4,000 USD

Details: The Principal will be mainly responsible for managing all aspects of the college, including
the
instructional program, the extracurricular program and the physical plant. S/He will
provide academic and administrative leadership of the highest level and always keep in
view that the reputation of the college relies on her/his actions. S/He will keep the CEO
informed who in turn will inform the MC about the performance of the college and other
matters of concern. Main duties and responsibilities of the Principal are listed below but
not limited to that:
 Performing as the head of the college and administering the teaching and non-
teaching staff.
 Establishing and implementing a college program aligned with the college’s vision
and mission.
 Ensuring the smooth operation of the college and all of its facilities.
 Possessing management tools, including operational and strategic planning.
 Requiring high professional standards from the teaching and non-teaching staff and
providing adequate resources to them to reach the set standards.
 Supporting college’s culture to identify and celebrate the diversity.
 Taking quality enhancement measures in consultation with the CEO, if required.
 Be a part of recruitment drive and putting efforts to retain high quality work force.
 Monitoring and auditing of the financial matters of the college.
 Setting and articulating clear direction and benchmarks.
 Soliciting feedback from valid sources, adjusting when necessary.
 Leading to positive action and implementation.
DESIRED QUALIFICATION & ATTRIBUTES
 Holds Master Degree in Education from an Elite University along with teaching
certificate or affiliation with Professional International Teaching Organisation (e.g. QTS
(UK), National Board Certification (USA) etc.) and preferably with (NPQH) National
Professional Qualification for Headship (UK) and / or Administrator license (USA).
 Possesses excellent record of teaching and administration in International School or
College for at least 5-7 years.
 Displays advanced level of intercultural sensitivity, international-mindedness and
engagement with the host country.
 Inspirational leader who achieves balance between results-achievement and
people-achievement.
 Strong ICT skills.
