Pui Kiu College has successfully applying to start a foundation programmes at
undergraduate levels in Hong Kong in the coming academic year. We are recruiting
Teachers to join our team.
The initial contract will be for one year. Upon successful completion of this year, a longer
contract will be offered. There is a very competitive salary package, including
Accommodation, paid holiday leave, Medical Insurance, Accident Insurance, Visa
Assistance, Relocation Allowance, Repatriation Allowance and return flights between the
home country and campuses.
Minimum Requirements/Experience
Experience in teaching students between the ages of 14 to 18
Committed to taking teaching as a full time career
Experience or a willingness to be meticulous in grading and providing comprehensive
feedback on students¬’ work
At least 2 years of full time teaching experience
For EAP teachers:
Either TESOL certificate from reputable institutions such as Trinity College, CELTA
Certificate, or a Masters degree in English Education (or equivalent)
Experience in teaching academic English to non-native speakers of English
Preference will be given to applicants with proven track record in teaching English for
Academic Purposes, especially in the NCUK IFY programme or national high school
exam systems such as ’A’ levels
For Other Subjects:
A Bachelor or Masters degree holder in the relavant subject (or equivalent)
Experience in teaching IALs or NCUK IFY curriculum prefered
(The ability to offer a combination of subjects will be an advantage for applicants)
Annual remuneration and acommodation/travelling allowance: negotiable
