Details: The Lead Teacher is responsible to teach an interdisciplinary, inquiry- and project-based
curriculum focused on developing academic, social and 21st century skills, e.g., problem-
solving, critical thinking, collaboration and creativity. As NYA is a new school, teachers
are involved in and responsible for developing the curriculum using interdisciplinary units
of study centered on main ideas or themes.
New York Academy offers a progressive American curriculum in a nurturing environment
for children in Nursery through Fourth Grade at its Early Learning Center, which opened
in August 2016. Maximum class size is 16 students. In 2018, the school will open its main
campus for Nursery through Twelfth Grade.

Requirements:
