Details: We are seeking primary teachers for our
school in Warsaw, Poland. Vancouver Schools is a
small, private school located in a residential district of
Warsaw. We use the Canadian curriculum in an
immersion programme setting. Going into our fourth
year, the school has been consistently growing.
Because of this growth, we are looking for qualified,
enthusiastic teachers for all grades (1-8).
About Warsaw
Warsaw (Warszawa) is one of the fastest growing cities in Europe. Due to an ongoing
tech
boom, the city is home to many highly-educated young families and demand for English
education with native speakers is extremely high. Warsaw’s central location and twin
airports
make travel to destinations such as London, Madrid, Paris, Prague, and Rome affordable
and
fast. Cost-of-living is also significantly cheaper in Poland than in other Western countries.
Warsaw, and Poland, in general, is a very safe and comfortable place to live. There are
many
English-speaking ex-pats in the city, as well.
Responsibilities
-Teaching core subjects to small classrooms
(less than 16) of 100% English-Language
Learners (ELLs)
-Participation in extra-curricular events
(performances, field trips)
-Attending parent- and staff meetings
Application Requirements
-C.V. or resumé
-Proof of graduation from Bachelor of
Education program
-Canadian teacher’s certification
-Criminal record check
Training in ESL is a bonus, but not required.
