Position: Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and ECE Assistant
Reports to: center’s supervisor/manager/owner
Location: Richmond, BC
Category: Part-time and Full-time
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
• understand and follow all center’s policies, protocols, and management’s directions
• understand and follow the Child Care Facility Licensing requirements
• plan and develop Montessori and ECE school programs
• provide supervision and guidance of daily activities
• establish and maintain positive daily communication and interaction with co-workers,
and building a positive working relationships
• keep systematic approach toward an organized, and clean environment, while
maintaining the same approach in all activity and program
areas, common spaces, and washrooms
• make certain that all safety and supervision standards are implemented and
maintained according to licensing and the center’s requirements
• maintain confidentiality of all information related to the centre, the children, their
families, and staff
• disengage from any situation that may lead to a conflict of interest
maintain regular attendance, punctuality and to be appropriately dressed and well
groomed
• assist in housekeeping duties

Education, Level of Experience & Hiring Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education licence to practice (is a must), Montessori Certificate,
