Required Degrees: Bachelor of Modern Languages

Details: candidate is expected :
1) To teach english up to 18 hours a week of scheduled Young Learner or Adult classes
2) To actively engage in performance management to ensure quality and high standards in
teaching and learning.
• Support and motivate teachers to deliver excellent quality lessons in line with our
academic strategy
• Be the first line of inquiry for teaching centre staff who need ad hoc English support
and advice.
• Deliver induction for new teachers
• To liaise with the academic teams to ensure adequate product training across training
days and other activities
4) To contribute to the development of English language courses and added value services
such as the student and parent counselling, add-on products (short courses, workshops, holiday
courses) and external events in order to meet business needs.
• Contribute to the development of syllabus documents and teacher resources.
• Support the Penang ST and Heads of YLs and Adults in meeting strategic objectives
for the academic products.
• Substitution and other projects undertaken are closely monitored and meet the
success
5) To provide effective administration and support systems.
• Work with YL and adult teams in other branches in order to maintain and standardise
products and quality of programmes.
