English Language Instructors required in Brunei
(Brunei, Bandar Seri Begawan)
Required Degrees:
DELTA/MA App.Ling or similar/PGCE EFL
Fields of Expertise: ESL/EFL, IELTS/ESP
Details: Working for the International School Brunei: English Language Centre. ISB is a highly reputable international School of over 40 years standing. The English Language Centre is government authorised and newly opened to service the local community and corporate English Language needs.
Needed:
Experienced and qualified English Language instructors, preferably DELTA/MA App. Ling. or similar/PGCE TEFL – with IELTS and ESP exp. With a proven track record 10 yrs. +. Teachers without such a qualification but with substantial IELTS/ESP exp. could be considered.
Package:
Approx. $5000 Brunei Dollars (2500 sterling) with overtime opportunities
Furnished accommodation: new 2 bedroom apartment
Medical insurance
Return flights (also provide for spouse after 2 yrs. or end of contract)
Visa costs inc. spouse dependence visa
One-month free car hire (site located 15 - 20 miles 25 - 35 mins from accommodation)
Paid vacation: minimum 20 working days per annum (some flexibility with one prep./report writing period between the seven week courses)
Annual contract renewal based on probation period and performance
Job:
Teaching qualified Chinese engineers on site. Brand new state of the art facilities
Gen Eng. (emph. on oral skills initially). ESP Engineering/English for IELTS (to band 4.5/5)
