The Language Education Center at Changwon National University is looking for responsible and qualified ESL instructor.
1. Position
○ Position: Full-time English Instructor
○ Period of Contract: 1 Year from January
○ Organization: Language Education Center, Changwon National University
○ Location: Changwon, South Korea
2. Qualifications
1) Native English speaker from an English-speaking country of U.S.A, U.K, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland
2) B.A. or above
3) More than 1-year teaching experience in the fields of English education
4) Valid Visa Status: E-2(including candidate), F-4, F-6
※ Only those who can meet the qualification above can be acceptable as an applicant.
※ Applicants who meet one or more of the following conditions preferred
‐ M.A. or above
‐ English Education, Linguistics, TESOL or Applied Linguistics
‐ More than 1-year of English teaching experience at the university in Korea
3. Job Description
○ Teaching college English conversation, English for specific purposes, English camp for elementary school students and other classes offered by the University
○ Counseling at office hour & English Lounge
○ Annual Teaching Hours: 516 hours (Extra pays on additional works)
＊ Working hours depend on programs provided by the University
4. Salary & Benefits
1) Monthly Salary 2,500,000 KRW
2) Severance pay upon completion of a 1-year employment
3) Detached four-week paid vacation/year
4) Partly subsidized National Pension premiums and National Health Insurance
※ No housing is provided by the University
※ No airfare from abroad
