Details: Diplomatic Language Services (DLS), based in the Washington, DC metro area, has been providing exceptional language and cultural training services to US government and commercial clients for more than 30 years. DLS is a fast-growing and dynamic organization offering excellent career potential. DLS is currently seeking experienced instructors of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for English language training programs in the Middle East, including the UAE and Qatar. Projects involve teaching adult students in a military setting. Instruction is based on an existing curriculum. Start dates first quarter of 2020, depending on country.
Instructor Responsibilities:
-Develop weekly lesson plans;
-Conduct classes while maintaining a student-centered classroom;
-Administer periodic curriculum based skills assessment and testing (oral and written);
-Conduct laboratory sessions (computer/multimedia);
-Maintain student performance, attendance and academic records on a daily/weekly basis;
-Conduct student counseling sessions;
-Participate in additional projects as needed.
