Details: TWELVE BCN is a language company in Barcelona that offers the great opportunity to come to this city in order to learn or improve the Spanish language in a native place. With 5 years of experience in the English sector, currently, we are working with more than 15 speaking assistants in 10 different schools. We also provide Business and In-company English classes as well as private tutoring.
We are looking for young people (in between 18 and 30 years old) who have experience or the desire to work with children in between 4 and 17 years old. Someone responsible, hardworking, energetic, patient and punctual. Respectful with other cultures and eager to live a wonderful experience in an unbeatable environment.
Collaborating with a school as a SPEAKING ASSISTANT. Speaking assistants are native English speakers who possess the motivation, desire and commitment to encourage the Spanish students to improve their English language skills.We also offer: Food and travel purchases You can have lunch in the school every day, Monday to Friday.Also assessment with the travel card is provided. We supply 3 hours of Spanish lessons every week with an ELE certified teacher. Tutors There will be a person from Twelve BCN tutoring you all through the programe and helping you out with anything you may need. You will also have a tutor in the school you will be collaborating with.
Conversation assistants provide a unique service for schools, bringing the language and culture of English-speaking countries closer, thereby enhancing the learning of foreign languages. Its function is to provide a complementary service to the work of foreign language teachers, supporting school teachers, working closely with them and:
- Carry out linguistic, intercultural, socio-linguistic and leisure activities, in order to bring the culture of English-speaking countries to the students and foster students’ motivation and interest in the language and culture.
- To provide a model for phonetic and grammatical correction of the language by the students.
- Collaborate actively in the daily life of the center. Participate in any activity that focuses on improving English language teaching at the center and stimulating the student’s oral skills in English.
