Details: The International School of Kyrgyzstan is hiring teachers for the following positions :
- Secondary School English Teacher - 1 position
- Secondary School History/Geography Teacher - 1 position
- Secondary School Biology/Chemistry Teacher - 1 position
About the roles
We are seeking to appoint teachers with a proven track record of helping pupils to reach their social and academic potential. The successful candidates will have two years of experience in a similar role and hold a BA/MA in Education from an accredited university and they will hold Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, and IGCSE training certificates. Teachers will also be responsible for fostering in our students, the essential qualities of character, perseverance, and self- confidence by empowering them with the skills and knowledge to contribute to a global community that is ever-evolving. The ability to integrate technology and reflect current best practices in your lessons, as well as the willingness to contribute to school life outside of the classroom is also necessary.
About the school
Our student body numbers almost 200, ranging from ages 5-16. We are Cambridge accredited with our pupils working towards achieving IGCSE qualification. There is a maximum of 18 students per class, enabling our teachers to give each pupil the necessary support to help them realize their potential. Training opportunities are provided and professional development is encouraged for all staff.
