We are looking for a qualified and experienced Learning Support Teacher, who is able to identify and assess individual learning needs, and support students with their learning. This requires working with students individually, in small groups, or in the larger classroom context. Working experience in preparing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for students and progress reports is also a necessary part of this position.
You would be working in collaboration with our Learning Support Coordinator, and our Student Support team, as well as working alongside our teachers and in partnership with our families. Established in 1872, as innovators of international education in Japan, the school continues to meet the needs of children (co-educational, 2½ years to Grade 12) from the multi-cultural, multi-faith international community.

-submit reference letters if you already have in your file from educators holding administrative positions
-provide with the application the name and email contact of at least four people who can testify to their teaching ability, classroom management skills, character, and application suitability as we would like to send our own evaluation form. At least two of the four people should be past employers, one the present employer and one from a current principal or direct manager/supervisor.
