Details: Homestay English is a family run business which has been established for nine years with great success until Covid 19 hit !
We are looking for ESL qualified, preferably experienced, homestay teachers who can offer clean, comfortable accommodation to our students. A friendly, hospitable nature is essential to make our students welcome as part of the family. Our courses range from one week (seven nights) to 4 weeks. We offer a range of programs from general English, English for 50+, exam preparation, business English, English for specific purposes, Fast track and Culture and conversation (No formal lessons). The minimum hours tuition on teaching programs is 15 hours per week is 15 hours per week. Any additional hours are charged at £25 per hour.
We are especially keen on teachers with families, as often students’ parents wish their teenage children to be in a family situation with children of a similar age. Applicants who wish to teach juniors up to the age of 18 years must have a current DBS certificate.
A private bathroom is a bonus but is not essential. We pay a minimum of £630 per week
