Details: Lakeside International School is located in the beautiful Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. We are 15 minutes from the Liberia International Airport, and 10 minutes from several beautiful beaches.

MIDDLE SCHOOL GENERALIST
INTERVENTION & SPECIAL NEEDS SUPPORT
INSTRUCTIONAL COACH
This position will suit a flexible, enthusiastic, and well-qualified candidate who is student centered and focuses on learning.
We are looking for a passionate educators to engage our learners in creative, purposeful and holistic learning experiences, teachers who can cater to diverse student learning styles and needs through the application of a wide range of teaching techniques, particularly in language acquisition and literacy, mathematics, and in integrated, thematic-based learning experiences.
To successfully fulfill the role, the candidate will fulfill the following requirements:
- Is a creative and collaborative educator
- Is consistent in establishing and nurturing relationships with students, parents, peers and the community
- Has prior teaching experience with ELL’s with a toolkit of differentiation techniques to meet the needs of individual learners
- Has a growth mindset
- Has a high level of English Proficiency (Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus)
- Prior international teaching experience a plus
- Must hold a Bachelor Degree (preferably in education or education related field)
Salary compensation is competitive within Costa Rica. We are looking for dedicated teachers who are looking for a challenge and love what they do.
Starting date: January 2025
