Details: Seeking NATIVE ENGLISH speaking KG Teachers for the following:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
EGA’s teachers provide effective teaching and learning through inquiry-based lessons that incorporate clear learning objectives through differentiated instruction to students of mixed abilities.
Some of EGA’s teachers’ responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Teaching all areas of the kindergarten, primary, or middle school curriculum or Specialty Subject areas based on the appointed position while integrating subjects in alignment with the IB philosophy.
- Collaborating with the grade team to prepare annual/term/weekly plans in advance in accordance with the school’s learning outcomes.
- Sharing weekly plans with parents to keep them abreast with children’s education.
Integrating technology as an instructional and teaching medium.
- Conducting and documenting the results of various assessments, and adjusting/differentiating instructions according to the identified group and individual needs
- Using school’s digital platforms to document assessments and track growth, enhance teaching, journal students’ work, and communicate with parents
- Collaborating in the design of and participating in various school activities and events
- Contributing to school accreditation requirements through assigned responsibilities from the leadership team
- Supervision duties
Requirements:
- Native/Fluent English speaking is a MUST
- Bachelor Degree in Education
- Two years of teaching experience
- IB (International Baccalaureate) teaching experience is a plus
- Valid teacher’s certificate
- Previous work experience with Interactive Boards, various educational technology applications and manipulatives is required
